Slagelse, West Zealand: One of the oldest towns of Denmark, there is plenty of history to explore. Part of the Trelleborg ring fortress of the Vikings in the 8th century is still preserved here. At the Slagelse Museum you can explore more of this history, as well as its crafts, trade and industry.
