Mols Bjerge National Park: This park not only protects unique and rare flora but has a rugged landscape. Grand forest and lake landscapes can be explored on the many walks available, but also by bicycle, car and horseback.
Skagen: This fishing town is also the most northern in Denmark and attracts some two million visitors per year. A favourite with painters and other artists in the late 19th century, it has a great art museum.
Also in Skagen is Drachmann’s House is now a museum, dedicated to the works of Holger Drachmann as well as other notable artists. At the Teddy Bear Museum, they have over a thousand teddy bears of all kinds. The Skagen Odde Nature Centre was designed by Jørn Utzon of Sydney Opera House, amongst other famous buildings.
